What I am primarily looking for
in a telephone sales person is
commitment, confidence and a "service"
state of mind which seeks to do just
one thing: "Sell the truth".
I began at the call centre as a seasonal telephone sales operator, then I climbed the ladder to my current position.
My role? Organising a team of 30 to 45 persons managing some 600,000 calls per year, which represents 70% of the company's total turnover. We can't afford to make mistakes!
My priority? To fulfil our commitments to our clients. To this end, I support the teams on the telephone, quickly provide them with information and train them on our products and conditions of sale. They must therefore be responsive, adaptable and have very good listening abilities. To motivate them, I use a combination of professionalism and friendliness.
